Molecular Futures
What are possible Futures for the Specialty Chemicals Industry? The VR application ‘Molecular Futures’ is based on a scenario study by the Corporate Foresight unit of the specialty chemicals company Evonik. The app presents five futures in an everyday setting – a bathroom and a workplace. For each scenario the interior and products of daily use are designed accordingly. These interactive environments serve as a setting for short stories that portray characters and careers as well as radio news describing the broader context of the future worlds.

Molecular Futures won a Red Dot Award 2020 and is available on the Oculus Store.
